Eric Paltell has practiced law since 1987, concentrating in the representation of public and private sector employers in all aspects of labor and employment law. Prior to joining Kollman & Saucier as a partner in 2002, Mr. Paltell was a partner with one of the world's largest law firms, Piper Rudnick (now known as DLA Piper). Mr. Paltell's practice includes employment discrimination and sexual harassment suits, ADA and FMLA litigation, wrongful discharge suits, wage and hour cases, ERISA litigation, NLRB proceedings, collective bargaining negotiations, and grievance arbitrations. Additionally, a significant part of Mr. Paltell's practice involves management training and counseling. J. Eric Paltell

For the past seven years, Mr. Paltell has been listed as one of the top labor attorneys in Maryland in the Chambers USA publication, "America's Leading Business Lawyers." Mr. Paltell has been listed by Baltimore Magazine as one of Maryland's "Super Lawyers" every year since 2007, and also achieved a rating of 9.5 out of a possible 10 in the 2008 Avvo.com’s Maryland attorney ratings – the highest score of any Maryland attorney whose practice is devoted exclusively to employment law. Additionally, Mr. Paltell has obtained an “AV" peer review rating from Lexis-Nexis/Martindale Hubbell.
