CENTRAL MARYLAND RED CROSS WELCOMES NEW BOARD MEMBERS

The American Red Cross of Central Maryland announced the election of five new board members at their recent annual meeting.

TIMONIUM, Md., November 15, 2007 - The American Red Cross of Central Maryland announced the election of five new board members at their recent annual meeting.

Eric Paltell is a partner practicing law at Kollman and Saucier and will be serving on the Red Cross Human Resources committee. Paltell has been listed as one of the top labor attorneys in Maryland by Chambers USA and was named one of Baltimore Magazine’s “Super Lawyers.” He is a graduate of the University Of Virginia School Of Law.

Anna-Maria G. Palmer is the Vice President of Human Resources for AAI Corporation. Palmer will serve on the Red Cross Human Resources committee. She earned her masters degree from the Johns Hopkins University.

Elaine J. Bonneau is the Publisher and Editor in Chief of Expression Magazine, the only bilingual magazine for the Hispanic community of greater Baltimore. Bonneau is also a member of the board of directors for Women Entrepreneurs of Baltimore and the Baltimore Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. She is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University.

James Prusak is the Senior Vice President/Small Business Network Director for Provident Bank. Prusak will be serving as a member of the Financial Development committee. He will also provide leadership to the board’s annual golf fundraising events. Prusak is a graduate of Towson University and earned an advanced degree from the University of Wisconsin.

Margaret Sparr is the Deputy Director of the Louisiana Healthcare Rebuilding Staff, Centers for Medicare and Medicare Services at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). Sparr will serve on the Red Cross Health & Safety committee. She received a Master of Public Administration from the University of Southern California and a Master of Science in Education from SUNY Buffalo.
